Foods That Help You Lose Weight
Specific foods have been known to
assist, in weight loss, but foods that help you lose weight
seem to be rare and it is difficult to get substantiated
evidence on the effects of any. Actual diets which incorporate
foods which help you lose weight are even harder to find. Some
diets are rich in fiber, and some foods take longer to consume
and longer for the body to process.
They usually have less calories than

fruits are healthy and good for you and, if any

lose weight then fruit, and vegetables are them.
This is not without exception however. Avacado's
are particularly fattening and should not be
consumed if you are trying to lose weight. Oranges,
banana, all kinds of citrus fruit (mandarins,
lemons, grapefruit etc) fijoas, loquats etc are
extremely healthy. There is a need, however, to
avoid high doses of vitamin C (the main vitamin in
oranges) if one is undergoing any type of detox
program. This is due to the risk of the liver to go
into toxic shock and subsequently suffer from

While most people think they are a huge fattener
the reverse is actually true. The way in which they
are cooked plays a huge part in determining their
ability to put on weight. Potatoes have a calorie
count of only 97 when cooked correctly. This means
you need to boil them, not fry them, and refrain
from eating potato chips that have been deep
fried,. In fact ALL deep fried foods should be
avoided, along with the cooking
method.

recent scientific breakthroughs, in the field of
heart disease, have led to the discovery of
combinations using soy beans and goats milk
by-products. One successful product, now on the
open market, is called pro-active margarine and it
actually reduces cholesterol levels by as much as
10 % within 3 weeks.
We tested the claims made by the
manufacturer, and found this to be 100 % true. The only
modifications made to the testers diet were substituting the
normal margarine for the proactive one, and results were very
impressive. The drop in cholesterol was more than 10 %, within
the 3 week period. The tester was aged 40 years old, had a
cholesterol level of 9.6 at the beginning of the test period
and ant the end of the test period the reading was only
7.8%
